Brad you write

"Nothing makes you appreciate the smallest of details of life than when they are being taken away from you"

How true this is, after my illness, that, like your own experience ,had a end of life possibility it is not that hard to get out of bed in the morning for a training session or squeeze a bike ride in after work.

Triathlon may not be everyones ideal of a sporting endevour, I love it because of my enjoyment of the three disciplines.

Whatever floats your boat and gets you out to appreciate the cool of a night air, the sensation of breathing deep into your belly, the experience of the tingling fatigue that comes with the accomplishment of of a goal you may never have thought possible.

Enjoy life, know you are here for a very short time.

Step up to the start line, and enjoy every experience with the wonderment of this precious gift we have, called life.
